The unveiling of the 2023 Game Awards nominees, celebrating excellence in the gaming realm, is now public.

lead the pack with an impressive tally of eight nominations each, notably contending for the prestigious Game of the Year title. Noteworthy contenders in this top-tier category encompass Insomniac Games’ spectacular Spider-Man 2, Capcom’s iconic Resident Evil 4, and Nintendo’s timeless classic, Super Mario Bros.

The current year’s selections for the recently established Best Adaptation classification (debuted in the previous year) encompass a diverse array of cinematic and televised works.

Nintendo leads the nominations for the 2023 Game Awards with 15 nominations in its combined portfolio. Sony Interactive Entertainment/PlayStation 13 follows, along with Xbox (including Bethesda and Blizzard) with 10 nominations, and Epic Games with nine.
In total, the nominated individuals for the 2023 Game Awards include 112 different games, personalities, teams, and various styles and platforms. The selection of nominated individuals is made by a global jury of more than 100 media publications and influential outlets.
The grand event of the 10th Annual Game Awards is scheduled for Thursday, December 7, 2023, unfolding at the esteemed Microsoft Theater within LA Live (formerly known as the Microsoft Theater).
