“Adolis Garcia: Ascending to Stardom in MLB – Depth Player Profile”

In the last four matches of the ALCS, after hitting five home runs to lead Texas to the World Series,

Garcia extended his home run streak to five games with a big swing in Game 1. ALCS MVP put 373-foot home run from Miguel Castro in the opposite field, defeating the Rangers 6-5.

This was the second clutch home run of the night for Texas, which came in ninth place, trailing by two runs, when Diamondback’s Paul Seewald took the mound.

Leo Tavares came to lead the inning, and after Marcus Semien swung out, the Rangers needed some magic from star shortstop Corey Seager to keep their hopes of winning alive.

Seager delivered by hitting a two-run bomb to the right field to tie the game, giving Garcia an epic moment after two extra innings.

Eleventh Inning: Rangers 6, Diamondbacks 5

12:10 AM: Bottom of the 11th – Adolis Garcia hits a walk-off home run! Garcia’s bat was hot, and this time, he helped the Rangers take Game 1 of the World Series to the opposite field with a 373-foot bomb. What a game!

Paul Seawald stays put and gets Austin Hedges out, ending the inning. Free baseball in World Series Game 1.

11:29 AM: Bottom of the 9th – Corey Seager sends a two-run homer to deep right field! Our game is all tied up! Leody Taveras leads the inning, and after Paul Seawald strikes out Markus Semien swinging, Seager’s swing evens the score with two outs in the bottom of the ninth.

11:27 AM: Bottom of the 9th – The Diamondbacks are calling RHP Kyle Nelson to keep this game tied.

11:22 AM: Bottom of the 9th – Wil Smith gets Gerald Perdomo out at third, but Corbin Carroll felt like maybe they all met. The star rookie tore a lined shot to the right, but Adolis Garcia made an impressive play to record the out and end the inning.

11:17 AM: Bottom of the 9th – Jon Gray gets Ivan Longoria out, and now, they’ll turn to LHP Wil Smith to try to keep the lead tight.

Eighth Inning: Diamondbacks 5, Rangers 3

11:11 AM: Bottom of the 8th – Kevin Ginkel remains calm in tough situations. He got Nathaniel Lowe out with a fly ball and told Josh Jung to ground out, avoiding any trouble.

10:41 AM: Bottom of the 7th – Mitch Garver leads the inning, then Jonah Heim takes the mound. Nathaniel Lowe almost tied the game in one swing, but he had to do it all over again as he hit into the right field.

10:36 AM: Bottom of the 7th – Gerald Perdomo fields one on a lineout, but he’ll challenge Lourdes Gurriel Jr., who is batting second alone. Gurriel Jr. fouls off a line drive from the right, but Adolis Garcia records another impressive play to end the inning and seal the deal.

10:31 AM: Bottom of the 7th – Lourdes Gurriel Jr. starts the inning alone as the second hitter, but aside from that, Jon Gray gets the Diamondbacks’ hitters out. He strikes out Christian Walker, Tommy Pham, and Alec Thomas swinging.

10:25 AM: Bottom of the 6th – Josh Jung gets the Rangers a pair of base runners to the center without any hits, but Jonah Heim goes out in short. Now, Nathaniel Lowe will face lefty Cody Bradford.

9:36 AM: Bottom of the 4th – Zack Gallen got through the bottom of the fourth without any real trouble, giving up just one run to Josh Jung. Nathaniel Lowe flies out, Leody Taveras swings and misses, and Markus Semien goes out swinging. Gallen is at 86 pitches through four.

9:25 AM: Top of the 4th inning – After a domestic run-size mistake from Tommy Pham, Nathaniel Eovaldi forced Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Alec Thomas to ground out, trying to end the inning and getting Ivan Longoria out.

9:21 AM: Top of the 4th inning – Tommy Pham hits a solo shot to the left! Just two pitches into the fourth, Pham sent Nathaniel Eovaldi over the left-field wall 419 feet high, giving the Diamondbacks a 4-3 lead at the top.
